Work Session FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions and answers about our unique Work Session approach that will give you a better idea of what to expect as we help you achieve more for your project.

A work session is the block of time, usually 2 hours, where you and your Codacity professional get things done together–in real time, in person.  This way, we can build, test, and make use of our work by the end of the work session. Occasionally, this may be done remotely, but we always coordinate schedules with you so we know you’re around to collaborate as needed.

Codacity standard rate is $220 for a work session, at $110 an hour. Because of our strategic approach, we have launched new websites well within $500 budgets. We also frequently offer promotions and discounts, so keep an eye out to see if you can benefit from one of them!

Typically, there are no additional costs. If additional third-party purchases or subscriptions are required, we will let you know your options so you can make the final decision on how best to proceed.

In the calendar invite that we send you, we specify the tasks that we’re going to work on together. We always collaborate with you in advance on the set of tasks we’re going to work on so we’re all prepared.

Payment is required at the end of each work session. However, as an added bonus, we offer a 5% discount on all prepaid work sessions.

There are no refunds or exchanges on Work Sessions confirmed and completed.

If for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule a prepaid work session, the amount you prepaid will simply be credited to your account and applied as payment for the next work session.

We do accept cash and checks in person, and debit and credit cards as well.

If you absolutely require a different payment arrangement, please speak with us in advance and we will see if we can work something out.

On the rare occasion something is terribly wrong outside of a work session that was not identified during a work session, we fix it without any additional cost to you. However, the point of a work session is to allow you to give instant feedback so we can make instant changes to your satisfaction. Therefore, we have yet to see a case where anyone has been unhappy with the end results of a work session.

Yes! We always send an invoice, no matter how you pay, and it contains often painstaking detail about the work that was done. That way, you always know what you are getting out of each work session.

We wouldn’t book a work session with you unless we were confident we could meet your needs within your budget. If you feel that you are not getting exactly what you hoped for, let us know and we will work it out with you.

Yes, but please note rescheduling will depend on availability. Also, please give at least 24 hours notice before canceling or requesting to rescheduling.
